About the role
As the Customer Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating staff across Reception, Sales, and Customer Service activities. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of projects that enhance the customer experience and ensure smooth operational delivery of the centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coordinate, and evaluate Reception, Sales, and Customer Service activities within the department.
  • Assist in the strategic development of service delivery, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to SSL (Swim, Sport & Leisure) staff with tasks relating to Reception, Sales and Customer Service and operational activities.
  • Assist in overseeing the centre as a whole and take responsibility for day-to-day operations of the centre in consultation with other SSL Coordinators.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience in a leadership or coordination position, with strong skills in customer service and team management. You are highly organised, able to prioritise competing tasks, and proficient in using a range of computer applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving, are essential. A genuine interest in swim, sport and leisure services, combined with a commitment to excellence in customer experiences, will enable you to thrive in this role.

Essential Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to recreation service delivery or several years’ experience in a related field.
  • Provide First Aid Certificate.
  • Pool Lifeguard Award.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
