Step into a role where you will make a real impact by supporting our Community Care team through the national Support at Home (SaH) reform and a range of exciting business improvement initiatives. You will be at the heart of meaningful change—driving process improvements, delivering clear and effective documentation, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and coordinating operations to enhance service delivery. Your contribution will help strengthen our organisation’s readiness for the future while ensuring we continue to provide high-quality care to the communities we serve.

Work type: Fixed Term – Full Time (10 months)
Classification: Band 6 Commencing at $95,760 pa plus super

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support innovation and best practice approach in the department for customer and community satisfaction.
  • Deliver activities that support organisational change, process improvement and service readiness for the SaH reform and other sector changes.
  • Analyse and map service delivery processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and compliance.
  • Provide practical advice and support to leaders and staff on process changes, improvement opportunities and implementation of new practices.
  • Contribute to delivering on continuous improvement initiatives by taking endorsed opportunities through implementation.
  • Support leaders in resolving issues that arise during reform implementation.

About you
This role is ideally suited to a passionate and experienced professional with a background in the Community Aged Care sector, who understands the importance of regulations and quality standards. You will be comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people, be solutions focused with a sharp analytical mindset that helps you navigate challenges and drive meaningful outcomes for both clients and the organisation

Essential Experience:

  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in project coordination, change support or service improvement
  • Experience working in community services, human services or operational environments.
  • Understanding of the aged care or community services environment, including regulatory expectations and sector reforms.
  • Project coordination skills, including supporting planning, implementation and monitoring of initiatives.
  • Experience documenting processes, developing resources or supporting improvement activities.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement and compliance practices within service delivery environments.
    Preferred candidates will require a Working with Children's Check and will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
