About the role
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping how the City plans, maintains and renews its civil infrastructure—using asset management systems and data to develop smart renewal programs, practical asset plans, and clear priorities that support long-term community outcomes.

Classification: Band 6 Commencing at $95,760 pa plus super

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the condition data capture for the City’s civil infrastructure assets.
  • Maintain the integrity of the asset management modelling software.
  • Assist with the data maintenance of the Asset Management System
  • Develop renewal programs for civil infrastructure assets
  • Drafting of civil infrastructure asset management plans and strategic documents.
  • Adhere to all Council’s policies and procedures relevant to this position.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a Civil Engineering degree, experience in road construction project management, and strong capability in asset management and modelling systems. You’ll bring sound analytical and reporting skills, exercise professional judgement, work effectively with stakeholders, and operate in line with Council values and policies.

Essential Experience:

  • Project Management of Road Construction.
  • Experience with Asset Management Systems, particularly asset modelling systems.
  • Commitment to adhering to the Council Code of Conduct, values and all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Experience in report writing, corporate reporting, management reporting.
  • Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
