Duties and Responsibilities: 

50% Works with faculty and administration to develop proposals for curricular change.
Oversees the curriculum change process.
Plans and conducts the evaluation of new and existing programs.
Prepares the sections of the college catalog describing the programs and courses.
Assists students with curricular problems.
Represents the College at meetings of the Louisiana Community & Technical College System (LCTCS) and the Board of Regents for Louisiana Higher Education on matters of curriculum implementation and change.
Monitors curriculum issues in the Banner System.
Oversees the use and implementation of degree auditing software.
Supervises Curriculum Office staff.
15% Responsible for the development and maintenance of curriculum system supports and resources including the Master Course Inventory in the student information system, a library of Curriculum Committee, LCTCS, and Board of Regents curricular actions, and an archive of historical curriculum records.
15% In support of new curricular offerings works in collaboration with multiple external and internal parties in support of developing new and innovative educational programs to meet workforce, academic, and personal enrichment needs of students and the Greater New Orleans community.
10% Chairs the college curriculum committee meetings and prepares committee recommendations for the review/approval of the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student affairs.
10% Participates on committees and taskforces as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Master's degree.

Required Experience: Minimum of six years in higher education in a teaching and/or professional support position.
Demonstrated ability to recognize and convey all aspects of appropriate curriculum design and instructional delivery processes.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
