The Assistant Director of Security Operations is a leadership role responsible for providing security expertise towards the implementation of effective incident response procedures, investigating incidents to determine the cause, enforcing access control procedures, as well as training SoLAcc personnel on those procedures. In addition, this position inspects and audits all SoLAcc locations to identify potential threats, lapses in physical security, and failures to
comply with all related procedures to minimize risks to the College and enhance the safety at SoLAcc.
A successful candidate will have the knowledge and capacity to respond effectively to incidents and collaborate with other departments as required. This individual will also have the communication skills necessary to develop relationships with key SoLAcc stakeholders, local law enforcement, and first responders so that these groups can inform the development of departmental procedures and be relied upon as resources when implementing incident response activities. |
