This position develops, implements, and evaluates systemic interventions and referrals that ameliorate basic needs in a manner that promotes dignity and minimizes the marginalization of HACC students. The position is responsible for hosting one-on-one meetings with students, developing an individualized plan for empowerment and success, immediate assistance, and referral of students to resources related to, but not limited to housing assistance, food assistance, daily necessities, mental health assistance, legal services, and other unforeseen emergencies that impedes student success in college. The incumbent advances and maintains relationships with campus and community partners to provide comprehensive and cohesive services to HACC students, meets with students, assesses their needs, makes appropriate referrals, follows up, and tracks success. This position is required to manage CARE Center and personal HACC emails, phone calls, and walk-ins, and maintain detailed records to ensure the team is working cohesively. This position is responsible for building meaningful relationships with faculty, staff, and community partners and is expected to maintain a campus presence that includes but is not limited to classroom presentations, community partnership meetings, hosting CARE Center events, working across the college to participate in college events, creating content for social media, maintaining an inclusive office environment with resources for students, and the ability to travel to other HACC locations upon request. This position engages in professional development activities to ensure competence in social services and DEI best practices; complete professional development activities, such as memberships in professional organizations, attendance at conferences, workshops, webinars, etc.

Student Support Coordinator Harrisburg, PA
The Student Support Coordinator position is a requirement under the GED grant fund that HACC receives from the PA Department of Education, Division of Adult Basic Education and Family Literacy for the purpose of barrier and transition support. Barrier support is designed to help students proactively identify issues that could prevent regular class attendance or interfere with their educational progress and to provide up front support to address those issues. Transition support is designed to help students identify their goals for postsecondary education/training and/or employment, establish a plan to reach those goals, and complete the steps in the plan.  Please note that all teaching positions are required to comply with PA Act 15. Pathways Transfer Coordinator (100% grant funded) Harrisburg, PA
This position develops, coordinates, and delivers programs/services focusing on students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university. The incumbent leads group sessions/workshops and provides transfer planning services for prospective, new, and continuing students. The position is responsible for promoting transfer pathways to HACC students and implements college-wide strategies and activities to ensure that students and faculty are informed of HACC's articulation partnerships and the opportunities available to students.
Director, Admissions Multiple campus locations, Harrisburg, PA
The interview process for this position will consist of three phases. Applicants who complete the application process and meet the position minimum requirements will be invited to interview in phase 1. Candidates will be notified of their status after each phase to confirm if they are moving forward in the selection process. High School to College Pathway Navigator Full-Time (50% Perkins / 50% HACC) Harrisburg, PA
This position is responsible for providing "concierge support" to help BIPOC, low income, and marginalized student cohorts from identified partner high schools, including Career and Technology Centers, build academic pathways to HACC. The incumbent works on removing barriers to ensure equity in and accessibility to dual enrollment and college-in-the-high school programs for identified student populations. This position works collaboratively with high school counselors and teachers to ensure that the students pursue their best-fit path for college credits while in high school. Best-fit paths include but are not limited to SOAR agreements, local articulation agreements, College in the High School (CHS), Dual Enrollment (DE) and Advanced Placement (AP). Responsible for assisting the Director of High School Partnerships with coordinating CHS and DE programming, outreach and special events with identified schools.
