Provides administrative support to the dean/associate dean, faculty and department chairs. This position is responsible for performing highly confidential data entry (such as payroll), preparing reports, preparing and proofing original correspondence, performing basic accounting functions for assigned area, assisting with on-boarding new hires, scheduling faculty for courses and conducting moderately complex research. This position may also assist supervisor in delegating work duties to other administrative support as well as providing general oversight.

The admissions counselor is responsible for recruiting future students through personalized communications, community interactions and recruitment events. An admissions counselor is an integral and front-facing representative of HACC. They integrate with high school and community partners and future students in the very beginning of the student's educational journey. They are the employees who provide future students with a vision of what life will be like at HACC and how to get started with the application and admissions process. We estimate that the admission counselor will work 33% remotely, 33% on any of the five campuses and 34% in the communities we serve.
Technician, User Support Harrisburg, PA
This position works directly with students and staff to handle technology support requests within the Learning Commons spaces and through the College’s ticketing system and Support Center partner. The incumbent resolves routine and non-routine problems related to the College’s audio/video and desktop environments, with support requests ranging from basic to complex. This position also offers fundamental technology training on College applications to students, faculty, and staff, supports other Learning Commons operations, and supports learning space installation, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.

The incumbent works on removing barriers to ensure equity in and accessibility to dual enrollment and college-in-the-high school programs for identified student populations. This position works collaboratively with high school counselors and teachers to ensure that the students pursue their best-fit path for college credits while in high school. Best-fit paths include but are not limited to SOAR agreements, local articulation agreements, College in the High School (CHS), Dual Enrollment (DE) and Advanced Placement (AP). Responsible for assisting the Director of High School Partnerships with coordinating CHS and DE programming, outreach and special events with identified schools.
