Job Summary: Surgical Technology adjunct providing hands-on laboratory/clinical instruction and/or didactic instruction and completing student progress evaluation in coordination with the Program Director. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree of Applied Science from a Surgical Technology program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in Surgical Technology

Current experience as a CST in a clinical setting

Licensing Requirements: Current certification as a Surgical Technologist through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Facilitates laboratory instruction, using strategies that stimulate interest and maximize student learning. Incorporate current research and practice into the design of instruction, including plans for development and revision. Supervises and assesses student learning to achieve outcomes at the course and/or program level. Models professional values in support of the mission, vision, educational outcomes, and strategic direction of the College. - (Essential)
  • % - Other duties as assigned. - (Standard)

Job Type: Part-Time Credit Hour (Adjunct)

If part time, hours per week: 8-10
