About the role
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of impactful campaigns and help promote our city’s initiatives through innovative marketing initiatives. Be part of a collaborative team driving community connection and brand excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and deliver engaging marketing content, including web copy, email campaigns, and advertising materials, to support the City’s marketing objectives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and projects across a variety of digital and traditional platforms to promote the City’s initiatives, programs, and services.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all marketing materials align with the City’s approved brand and communications standards.
  • Use analytics and insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and digital content.
  • Help maintain and administer the City’s marketing software and tools, including the digital image library.

About you

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations and/or significant professional experience in Digital Communications.
  • Some professional experience in execution of marketing related activity

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to source and create engaging content.
  • Demonstrated people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Good problem solving and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve task outcomes.
  • Developed report writing and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
  • Well-developed planning and time management ability.

Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a Working with Children's Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
