About the role
We are looking for qualified Lifeguards who will work in our Swim Sport and Leisure Centres to supervise aquatic spaces and programs.
Work type: Casual
Classification: Band 2 $43.05 p/h (including casual loading)
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide a standard of supervision, education and care which is in accordance with the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations.
- Maintain compliance with current Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations.
- Provide first aid and emergency care.
- Facilitate a safe and enjoyable environment through prevention, patron education, and safety.
- Completion of administrative reports as required, including first aid reports and hazard identification reports.
About you
You are a vigilant and proactive Lifeguard who takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable aquatic environment for all patrons. You understand the importance of active supervision and bring a calm, confident approach to responding to incidents and emergencies.
Essential Experience:
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Working with Children’s Check
- Provide First Aid Certificate
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City
