Adjunct Instructor - Accounting Technology SOWELA Lake Charles, LA
This is a part-time adjunct position beginning immediately. The School of Business and Applied Technology offers an AAS in Accounting Technology. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting Technology conducts college-level, transferrable courses in the discipline area of Accounting Technology while developing and designing curriculum plans that foster learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensure student engagement. This Adjunct Instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering lectures online, on-ground, and/or in hybrid situations, creating a learning environment, and assessing student learning. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting Technology maintains accurate grade and attendance records, and individual student progress data, and ensures this is a part of the student’s permanent record; adheres to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records; posts at the office and on the syllabus, on-campus and/or virtual hours to facilitate interaction with students, other faculty, staff administrators, and the public. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting Technology must be available to students via email, phone, and/or in-person conference, and may mentor other staff or students.

Embedded Program Coordinator DCC New Orleans, LA
The grant funded Embedded Program Coordinator serves as the scheduler, lead embedded coach, and trainer for writing coaches deployed within composition classroom studios to assist instructors and students with active learning processes.
