Reports to the Senior Quality Programs Manager, LED FastStart The Curriculum Specialist’s (CS) responsibilities include evaluating curricula, and identifying the most effective ways of delivering specific topics or concepts in an Adult Learning environment. It may also include revising, standardizing the format, and improving the content of LED FastStart training documents; including Talent Management, Quality, Safety, and Core Skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess teaching methods, instructional materials, and participant performance data. The candidate will possess strong decision making skills to determine proper methods of instruction and curriculum. The Curriculum Specialist will have strong and effective communication skills needed to explain teaching strategies, changes, and reasons for those changes to the curriculum design. The Curriculum Specialist will need to provide constructive feedback to Project Managers, Training Specialists, as well as Facilitators, and effectively lead curriculum review meetings. A working knowledge of e-learning techniques and language is required.

The successful candidate will play a key role in extending and shaping SOWELA’s existing information systems technology program.
