| The Head Soccer Coach will be responsible for leading, coaching, and managing the men’s program at HACC ,ensuring the development of student-athletes both on and off the field. This includes managing all aspects of the program including practice planning, competition strategy, recruitment, academic support, NJCAA eligibility, and fostering a positive, competitive team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student-athlete success and the mission of HACC.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching and Team Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive coaching plans and strategies for the soccer program.
Foster a positive and competitive team culture that encourages individual and team success.
Manage and oversee player development, including on-field skills, tactics, fitness, and mental resilience.
Recruitment:.
Establish and maintain relationships with high school coaches, club teams, and other relevant recruitment channels.
Monitor prospective student-athletes' academic performance, character, and athletic potential .
Player Development & Academic Support:
Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes to ensure academic success and personal growth.
Monitor student-athletes’ academic performance and collaborate with the academic support staff to ensure eligibility and academic success.
Program Administration:
Manage team travel schedules, and equipment
Assist with scheduling of practices, games, and tournaments.
Communication :
Work closely with the WARE staff to ensure the alignment of soccer program goals with the broader goals of the department.
Represent the soccer program at college events and recruiting functions.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Assist in fundraising efforts, camps , sponsorships, and community outreach programs to support the program. |

| Workforce Development (WFD) Instructor- Law Enforcement - Public Safety Center are PART-TIME instructors that provide interactive classroom or on-line based instruction and student academic support for assigned classes. Lesson plans are designed or delivered to ensure both quality and consistency of academic instruction. Strong candidates must possess good organizational skills, the ability to motivate and encourage success in fulfilling their teaching duties with minimal supervision.
