Job Summary: Adjunct faculty are part-time (classroom or on-line) faculty hired to teach on a semester basis.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Education. Child Development, Educational Leadership, or a related field (preferred).
To teach courses in the Early Care and Education Program – 3 to 5 years direct teaching experience with children 5 and under is required
To teach courses in the Pre K – 4th grade Transfer Program – 3 to 5 years direct teaching experience in public schools grades PK – 4, PA teacher certification (can be lapsed) is required
Previous experience as a director or administrator in an early childhood setting.
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, program development, and licensing regulations.
Prior teaching experience at the college level is a plus.

Licensing Requirements: To teach courses in the Pre K – 4th grade Transfer Program – PA teacher certification (can be lapsed) is required

Hiring Range: $1,207 - $1,295 per credit hour
