Interview Process

The interview process for this position will consist of three phases. Applicants who complete the application process and meet the position minimum requirements will be invited to interview in phase 1. Candidates will be notified of their status after each phase to confirm if they are moving forward in the selection process. 

  • Phase 1: 30-minute interview with the search committee
  • Phase 2: 30-minute interview with the search committee (different questions will be asked), 30-minute written exercise; 30-minute presentation with the Office of College Advancement team 
  • Phase 3: 30-minute interview with the vice president of college advancement (this phase will occur if you do not engage with the vice president of college advancement in phase 1 or 2; if you do engage with the vice president of college advancement in phase 1 or 2, phase 3 will not be necessary)

Job Summary: This position serves as the coordinator for assigned community partnerships. Serving as a community liaison, the community engagement coordinator will work with community partners and nonprofit organizations to develop and maintain initiatives that align with College programs.

Key Responsibilities

● Serve as the community liaison at assigned events and meetings
● Engage community partners when traveling to any of the College’s five campuses
● Prepare presentations and reports
● Develop and maintain detailed understanding of the education and/or training programs provided by the College
● Work closely with the key points of contact within the College to coordinate projects or events of impact
● Collaborate with community organizations to develop projects that have beneficial outcomes for students
● Plan and coordinate the College’s participation in community events and projects
● Coordinate and maintain a volunteer website and volunteer engagement tools for the College
● Work with the executive director to develop and maintain a calendar of community events for the College
● Coordinate requests from community partners
● Maintain the integrity of contact reports and keep a record of community partnerships in a database
● Work with the executive director to develop and prepare an annual summary of community partnerships

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant experience or equivalency in business development, community engagement, relationship management and/or results-driven field, two years of relevant experience in customer relationship management or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Hiring Range: $51,488 - $65,648
