Job Summary: | The Department of Public Health in the Usha Kundu, MD College of Health seeks a part-time (29 hours or less per week) Project Coordinator to assist in project implementation, data collection, management, analysis, interpretation, and development of technical reports related to sponsored population and public health programs, under the supervision of senior epidemiological research faculty. The candidate will be expected to engage with the broader project team from the Northwest Florida region and community as assigned. Main duties: The minimum hours for this position are 25 hours per week. The candidate will be expected to maintain office hours and participate in variety of project related activities including conceptualizing secondary projects with the support of the lead research faculty in collaboration with community partners. The position is a temporary appointment from September 2024 to April 30, 2025, with the possibility of an extension. Other specific duties include the following: - Community presentations to build health literacy - Dissemination of health literature in the Northwest Florida region - Population health data collection - Data management - Assist with data analysis and reporting - Maintain project-related documentation - Attend project planning and implementation meetings with senior faculty and collaborators - Attend community events to promote prevention and screening material - Maintain regular communication with lead faculty, community affiliate project staff, and participants - Send follow-up communications to participants to ensure data completion for reporting purposes. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Four years of direct experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. |
Position Qualifications: | The successful candidate must have a master’s degree in public health or a health-related field and skills, in data collection, abstraction, management, analysis, and interpretation. Soft skills such as the development of a technical report are required. |
