Job Summary: | Oversight of university-wide facilities planning, design, and construction processes. This includes major capital projects and a full range of other projects occurring on the main campus, where at any given time there may be more than 100 active current projects. Provide oversight of projects occurring off the main campus, including newly acquired properties and leased space as well as non-UWF projects of the university’s direct support organization, Business Enterprises, Inc. Manage flooring replacement and wood floor maintenance from start to completion. Maintain a multi-year replacement plan for flooring and carpet replacement. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience. |
Position Qualifications: | • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related field, AND • Five or more years of progressively more responsible experience in facilities management, architectural planning and design work, experience with construction and renovation on a broad variety of building types, mechanical and electrical systems, and construction delivery methods with three or more years of supervisory experience, OR; a combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of this position. • Professional engineering or architect license in the State of Florida or a state with reciprocity. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, and seven (7) or more years of progressively. Experience with project management and estimating software. |
