Delgado Community College is seeking an innovative, student-centered advocate to serve as the College Provost/ Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. This position reports directly to the Chancellor and serves as the chief academic and student affairs officer for the College. As the Chief Academic Officer of the college, the College Provost/Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs ensures the academic integrity of the college and supports innovations in programs and methods of delivery that respond in a timely manner to a rapidly changing environment. As the Chief Student Affairs Officer of the college, the College Provost/Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs provides leadership, vision and direction for a comprehensive array of student affairs initiatives and departments. This leader directs the work of Academics and Student Affairs which in turn promotes an innovative and effective interdepartmental relationship between student affairs and academics. This key leadership position will be responsible for working with the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to expand all academic credit programs and implement programs that will improve student recruitment, diversity, enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.
