Duties and Responsibilities:
20% - Act as liaison between all companies/clients and the Delgado Maritime & Industrial Training Center to schedule training and make all preparations as necessary, related to successful course implementation. Provide information as needed to clients and companies regarding training programs by providing relevant, accurate, and timely information related to student learning outcomes, career paths, and certification guidelines
20% - Monitor students from facility inception through training, grading and credentialing. Compose training quotes and invoices for corporate and grant clients.
15% - Process completed grant program paperwork, for both state and federal grants, to ensure proper completion and accuracy to abide by all grant requirements and regulations. This includes generation of reimbursement memos to the Director of Restricted Funds.
10% - Independently compose written correspondence to grant students and IWTP companies, conducting conversations in a professional manner via telephone and in-person
10% - Prepare and adhere to short-term and long-term strategic plans, as well as schedules and timelines for training and related needs, facilities usage, appointments, and meetings, especially as they relate to companies' and clients' needs.
10% - Create and maintain grant files and records for Maritime and Industrial Training Center, including digital and cloud-based storage; maintain course syllabi, exams and other required course materials
5% - Assist with coordination of activities and processes related to training, review, or assessment required for grant programs
5% - Serve as front office back-up in all areas of operation as it relates to clients. both grant and commercial
5% - Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or 8 years relevant work experience
Required Experience: Three (3) years work experience, with duties relevant to those of the position. General computer skills; knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Education: N/A
Preferred Experience: Five (5) years work experience; knowledge of maritime industry, higher education or adult learning. Strong organizational abilities to coordinate training programs to meet business / industry and workforce training needs.
Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
