Job Summary: | The coordinator assists with all fundraising efforts related to the Argonaut Athletic Club (AAC) with a primary focus on implementing an annual giving and membership program that acquires, renews and stewards athletic donors. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President, and has a fundraising goal of $250,000. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Four years of direct experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. |
Position Qualifications: | The candidate must possess strong organizational skills, high interpersonal communication competence (both written and verbal), demonstrated skillfulness in strategic thinking and in cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities. The candidate must have development or sales experience with a collegiate athletics program, institutional advancement and/or related organization and donor/customer constituencies. Proven record of event planning and implementation. List any additional skills or abilities not covered in the sections above that are required for the position: Responsible for the assurance that all assigned development activities are operated in compliance with institutional, department, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. |
Preferred Qualifications | Development experience with collegiate athletics program, institutional advancement, sales and/or related organization. Proven track record of achieving established fundraising/sales goals. Experience working with multiple constituencies such as annual and major donors, customers, coaches, student-athletes, faculty/staff, alumni, parents, sponsors and other interested parties. Proven record of event planning and implementation, experience working with donor or sales database as it relates to tracking gifts, verification of annual members, and stewardship activities such as member benefit redemption. Knowledge and experience with website, email marketing and social media design and usage. |
