Minimum Qualifications: | A high school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Position Qualifications: | Knowledge of basic library resources, procedures, and policies. Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of patrons. Ability to work well as a team member, showing initiative and motivation to assist others. Dedication to public service, patron-centered attitude, and friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision, yet recognize when to seek guidance. Flexibility and ability to manage and meet deadlines. Ability to establish work priorities efficiently. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products; Experience with OPACs; Experience with a Library Management System. |
