Working Title:  Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering
Job Summary: The successful candidate will teach water resources and environmental engineering at the undergraduate level, conduct academic research, advise students, mentor student projects, and perform service activities that contribute to the success of the department and the mission of the university. The position will be located at our Fort Walton Beach campus.

Minimum Qualifications: Holds the highest degree appropriate to the field or possesses equivalent qualifications based on professional experience, and be otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee engages in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities.
Position Qualifications: Minimum requirements are a PhD in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution by the start date of the appointment with strong commitment to teaching, academic research and service.
Preferred Qualifications While all areas within Civil Engineering will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with a background in water resources.
