| Job Summary: | The UWF Department of Intelligent Systems and Robotics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position (Position # 129550) at the assistant professor level. While recruiting in areas at the forefront of AI research is currently a priority, outstanding candidates in all areas of intelligent systems, robotics and human-machine teaming will be considered. Qualified research-intensive applicants can be considered for a joint appointment with IHMC. Applicants require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field from an accredited institution at the time of employment. Successful candidates are expected to pursue an active and externally funded research program, to teach graduate courses, to mentor graduate students and to be instrumental in the development of the ISR Ph.D. program. |
