Job Summary: The Chemistry Department at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL is seeking two candidates for a full-time Lecturer appointments starting August 2025. The successful applicants will be expected to provide exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level, work with current staff to support laboratory coordination, and perform other duties as required. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of general and organic chemistry and the candidate’s specialization area.

FLSA: Exempt
Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry from an accredited institution. The appointee engages in teaching, service, and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.
Position Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching and service.
Preferred Qualifications The position requires exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of general and organic chemistry and the candidate’s specialization area.
