Job Summary: | The UWF Center for Cybersecurity is seeking a full-time instructor with demonstrated experience developing and teaching various cybersecurity courses in online, hybrid, and/or in-person formats to support its educational and workforce development programs. Candidates with experience teaching all cybersecurity topics are welcome to apply, including cybersecurity defense and operations, artificial intelligence and/or machine learning for cybersecurity, critical infrastructure and ICS security, and industry certification prep courses. This position will provide leadership to strengthen the Center’s business development and strategic partnerships, and support the Center’s workforce development programs and grants. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Applicants are expected to possess a Master's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. |

Preferred Qualifications | Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity teaching, training, and/or curriculum development, as evident through teaching experience, impact, and recognitions. Development and instruction of cybersecurity academic or continuing education courses in online, hybrid, and/or in-person formats. Development and instruction of industry certification prep courses including but not limited to Security+, CEH, or CISSP. Familiarity with cyber range and virtual lab environments. Cybersecurity industry certifications including but not limited to Security+, CEH, or CISSP. Demonstrated evidence of administrative, management and leadership ability. Experience with managing Center operations, training, and/or workforce development programs. Familiarity with cyber ranges and their use to enhance education and training. Cybersecurity industry certifications including but not limited to Security+, CEH, or CISSP. Capable of holding a security clearance. |
