What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead and manage day‑to‑day transport operations at our C&HG site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient transport services while delivering on customer expectations and operational performance. You will oversee drivers and transport providers, manage fleet utilisation, and embed a strong safety culture aligned to Linfox’s Vision ZERO and Chain of Responsibility (COR) obligations. This role will be day shift and based in Erskine Park. Key areas:

  • Supervising all transport operations in line with company policies, legislative requirements and customer expectations
  • Managing company drivers and subcontractors, including inductions, training, fatigue management and compliance
  • Coordinating transport providers and contractors to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery
  • Ensuring all customer deliveries are completed safely, on time and to agreed service levels
  • Monitoring and reporting key transport KPIs, including delivery window performance
  • Managing transport bookings, freight consignments, track and trace, and reverse logistics activities
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Are you the one?

We are looking for an experienced transport professional that has previous scheduling/allocating experience or relevant leadership experience, Training and support will be provided to the right candidate. You can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in transport coordination, allocations or scheduling
  • Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safe working practices
  • Experience working with sub-contractors and/or 3PL providers
  • Background in FMCG or high-volume logistics environments
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP(preferred) and Blue Yonder (desirable)
