Job Description:
This grant funded positions primary responsibilities are to counsel and advise business firms/clients on how to seek, obtain and perform on prime contract and subcontracts with federal, state, and local government. Prepares and maintains client profiles and keywords search patterns in the database and maintains client files and log of client activities. Assists clients in developing a targeted approach to government market as well as understanding the government procurement process. Coordinates workshops within the geographic are in conjunction with other service delivery partners. Will maintain accurate and timely records of their activity as well as collect and enter client profiles, sessions reports and contract award verifications into the database.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university or equivalent experience (four years or more) may be considered in lieu of higher education.
• Experience coordinating programs is preferred.
• Experience initiating, planning, implementing, and evaluating one-off and ongoing programs.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Access, Word, Power Point and web conferencing applications (WebEx & Zoom).
Communication and other skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organizational talents.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
