Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the position include:
• Teaching therapeutic interventions and patient care management related to acute care and post-acute care
• Maintaining a productive scholarly agenda.
• Providing academic advising to physical therapy students.
• Providing service as required by the university.
• Rank is commensurate with experience.
• Opportunity for clinical practice at the University of Toledo Medical Center is available.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Physical Therapy degree with an earned doctoral degree, i.e., DPT, PhD, DSc, EdD, or equivalent (Applicants who are ABD will be considered).
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Applicants must have a current Ohio physical therapist license or be eligible for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Clinical practice experience in an inpatient setting, e.g., acute care, post-acute care.
• A minimum of 1 year of academic teaching experience in an entry-level physical therapy program.
