Job Description:
The Posdoctoral Fellow is primarily responsible for cancer research, specifically in studying the oncogenic function role of epigenetics factors and signaling proteins on cancer tumorigenesis and immune evasion, involving the use of cell-based and animal models.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in health sciences or related fields, no more than 3 years from graduation, required.
Hands on experience with molecular and cell biology, with bioinformatics training, required.
Hands on experience with animal studies, required.
Practical familiarity with standard cell culture, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer research laboratory, required.
Self motivated to carry out research projects and pursue career development, required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, required.
Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research team, required.
Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the PI, required.
