Job Description:
THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO COLLEGE OF LAW seeks to hire one or more tenure-track Assistant Professors of Law with Evidence as a primary course of interest.
Required qualifications include: a juris doctorate or equivalent with an outstanding academic record. Preferred qualifications include: excellent academic credentials, scholarly publications or demonstrated scholarly potential and meaningful legal experience.
The core responsibilities of this position include teaching courses, scholarly research and writing, and service to students, the College of Law, the University, and the broader legal community.
The University of Toledo is a comprehensive metropolitan public university with a $750+ million annual budget and graduate programs in Law, Medicine, Engineering, and Pharmacy, among others. The Toledo metropolitan area, with a population of over 650,000, is located on the Western shore of Lake Erie and boasts a world-class art museum, lively cultural scene, popular Triple-A baseball team, and a very affordable cost of living. Filling this position is subject to funding availability and approval of the Provost.
