Job Description:
Position will be responsible for helping to maintain safety within Carlson Library. Specific duties will include monitoring the floors to ensure a safe environment for our students; aid in emergency situations such as evacuations, medical emergencies, thefts, etc.; keep Library staff informed of security concerns; file incident reports; aid in nightly closing procedures, ensuring all patrons have vacated and the building is secured.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven history of working with young adults.
• Evidence of effective conflict resolution.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work well with diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior law enforcement experience preferred.
