Job Description:
This position plays a vital role in supporting first-year students as they transition into college life. This position designs and leads programs that promote student engagement, academic achievement, and a strong sense of belonging. Through orientation programs, peer mentorship, and co-curricular learning experiences, this role the ensures that students are connected, informed, and equipped to succeed. The role requires collaboration across academic and student affairs units to foster a supportive, student-centered environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
Communication and other skills:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask
• Exceptional customer services skills
• Effective and efficiently manage time
• Ability to collaborate with faculty members and other departments
• Adhere to FERPA and university policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• One to two years of professional experience working in secondary or higher education preferred.
