Job Description:
NIH funded postdoctoral position developing and testing smart exosome drug delivery systems for PDAC targeting therapies, in vitro and in vivo.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in cancer biology or related field, required
Practical familiarity with standard tissue culture, orthotopic mouse models of pancreatic cancer studies, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer biology research laboratory, required.
Ability to write manuscripts for publication, required.
Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, required.
Experience mentoring junior scientists, undergraduate and graduate students, required.
Ability to lead a primary project while simultaneously contributing to multiple ongoing research projects, required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, required.
Skill collaborating with a multidisciplinary research team, required.
Ability to conduct experiments with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the principal investigator, required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in animal models and PK/PD studies, preferred.
Experience in identification and characterization of nanoparticles, preferred.
Hands-on experience with gene manipulation techniques, such as molecular cloning, stable transfection, and western blotting,, preferred.
