Job Description:

This role provides leadership and oversight for the academic support programs within the Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) and the University Writing Center. This role is responsible for coordinating tutoring services, academic coaching, and student success initiatives in core academic disciplines, while supervising professional and student staff. This role also collaborates on institutional retention strategies and supports key projects led by the Director of Academic Success and Engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
•Master’s Degree in Education, Math, Science or related field required.
•Minimum of two years professional experience working in secondary or higher education
•Experience working in tutoring or academic skills center.

Communication and other skills:
•Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
•Ability to multi-task.
•Ability to collaborate and work with faculty members and other departments.
•Supervisory and budget skills.
•Ability to interact with a diverse population.
•Organizational and planning skills.
•Exceptional customer service skills.
•Effectively and efficiently manage time.
•Adhere to FERPA and university policies and procedures.
