Job Description:

General Summary

The position is responsible for performing the duties necessary for keeping our lab functioning such as but not limited to: washing glassware, making solutions, plant propagation, ordering, etc. The position also requires research work to understand the regulation of the tobacco silicon transporter in terms of post-translational modification and subcellular localization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
More than two years of experience as a Cell Biology or Molecular Biology lab tech.
Microbiology lab experience.
More than two years of experience performing spinning disk confocal microscopy on plant tissue is an absolute requirement.
Experience agroinfiltrating constructs into plant leaves for microscopic analysis.
