Job Description:
Assesses learning needs and assumes responsibility for providing educational services to all Ambulatory Services sites. Coordinates weekly in-service programs, yearly competencies for each department, and maintains database of competencies. Develops, implements, and monitors the orientation program for all new personnel in Ambulatory. Assists in imparting knowledge of clinic services to medical students and residents. Coordinates clinical rotations and on boarding of students in the ambulatory setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required OR an Associate’s Degree with five (5) applicable years of experience in lieu of higher education.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the clinical practice of nursing, experience in coordinating projects, and experience in group presentations required. Clinic experience preferred.
• Previous experience in staff development preferred.
• Knowledge of principles of adult learning required.
