Job Description:
Under the direction of the Service Excellence Operations Manager, responsible for the coordinating the UTMC customer complaint and resolution process. The primary responsibility is to facilitate the needs of our patients, families and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. This position is responsible for ensuring complaints are appropriately handled to ensure JCAHO and other regulatory agency requirements are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required.
5 years of customer service experience required in dealing with patient rights and concerns, issues, grievances required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Healthcare Administration or a combination of education and relevant work experience within the healthcare environment preferred.
5 years of customer service experience investigating patient, family, and visitor concerns, issues, grievances and complaints in a hospital setting preferred.
