Job Description:
This position is responsible for the management, oversight, and 24x7 operations of the Universities enterprise collaboration and infrastructure systems accounts. Systems and applications include electronic communications (Email, IM, Faxing, etc.), web conferencing, video streaming, electronic directory services, file sharing services, instant messaging, VMware, Office 365, Azure, Teams, Epic EMR, and SharePoint. The incumbent works with University personnel and students to identify issues and needs for infrastructure systems and services and works with Information Technology professionals to correct problems and improve systems and services.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of study (i.e., Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems,
etc.) is required. Other areas of study will be considered with relevant experience.
• Experience MS Office software suite.
• Minimum one (1) years of experience in Windows account administration required.
• Experience in an enterprise environment beneficial.
• Experience in either a healthcare or academic environment beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems beneficial.
• Active Directory experience beneficial.
• Help Desk support experience beneficial.
Communication and other skills:
• Excellent customer service aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Appreciation of punctuality, regular attendance, and dependability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
