What You'll Do: 

Program Coordination:
• Coordinate course schedules, faculty assignments, clinical placements, and student clinical eligibility.
• Maintain program statistics, student records, syllabi, examinations, clinical documentation, and other required records.
• Monitor attendance, academic progress, clinical requirements, and student outcomes; communicate concerns to the Director.
• Maintain effective communication with students, faculty, clinical sites, advisory committees, and college leadership.
• Support student orientation, registration, advising, graduation activities, board-related paperwork, and other student services.
• Assist with recruitment events, open houses, tutoring, seminars, professional development, and college meetings.
• Coordinate and supervise student clinical experiences, including assignments, organization, safety, and performance.
• Assist with program outcome assessment, annual reports, systematic evaluation plans, and accreditation or regulatory compliance.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment in which all students are treated equitably and with respect.


Curriculum and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and revise program and course catalog entries, policies, procedures, student learning outcomes, and curriculum.
• Ensure syllabi and learning management system courses align with college policies, catalog requirements, program outcomes, and instructional quality standards.
• Incorporate guidance from the program advisory committee into curriculum and program improvements.
• Monitor the teaching and performance of safety practices throughout the program.
• Collaborate with the Director to promote consistency across related programs and support student transitions when applicable.


Teaching and Clinical Instruction:
• Teach assigned radiologic technology courses in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
• Facilitate learning, manage course information, and promote student success and critical thinking.
• Prepare students for clinical practice and reinforce professional standards throughout clinical experiences.
• Work with instructors to provide effective classroom and laboratory sessions.
• Provide laboratory assistance and instructional support as needed.
• Adapt teaching assignments and schedules to meet program, enrollment, and operational needs.
• Maintain a 40-hour workweek encompassing instruction, preparation, advising, meetings, planning, and related responsibilities.

 

Required Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Current ARRT certification and registration in radiography, or equivalent credential.
• At least two years of clinical experience in radiologic technology.
• At least one year of teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• Demonstrated proficiency in curriculum development, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and academic advising.
