Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work Habits: 20%
• Predictable and reliable attendance is required to provide consistency and continuity of educational services.
• Appropriately researches policies and procedures for compliance with college, state, and program rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Analyzes and identifies the strengths and weaknesses of service delivery options and exercises critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills.
• Provides up-to-date information to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Behavioral Standards: 20%
• Accurately communicate tuition assistance options to prospective students.
• Understand the requirements and application process for various tuition assistance options.
• Ability to identify holds on prospective students’ accounts.
• Ability to work in Banner to look up student ID and enter into Salesforce
• Understand and communicate the benefits of SoLAcc’s EWDCE programs.
• Understand and communicate the differences in application, enrollment, financial aid, and certification between EWDCE and degree programs offered at SoLAcc.
• Manage time accordingly to reply to all student inquiries within 24 hours
• Follow strategies developed that move potential prospects along the Salesforce pipeline.

Institutional Support: 40%
• Answer inbound calls, texts, emails relating to enrollment in EWDCE programs.
• Make outbound calls and send emails to follow up with prospective students to ensure each cohort has at least the minimum number of students enrolled.
• Enter information about prospective students into Salesforce and record follow-up notes with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Write and maintain template emails in Salesforce to accurately reflect benefits of that program.
• Create and maintain recruiting campaigns in Salesforce to accurately reflect projected enrollment.
• Enter data into Excel spreadsheets regarding student enrollment and financial aid.
• Meet with prospective students to gather information for financial aid applications, including sensitive information, such as SSN, income, and criminal background
• Use the Banner system to look up collection and financial holds that would limit tuition assistance options.
• Gather documents required for some tuition assistance.
• Assist students with financial aid applications, such as FAFSA and LOSFA
• Assist students with financial aid applications for special grants.
• Assist prospective students with applying to the college for the correct semester.

Team Relations: 20%
• Interact efficiently and professionally with prospective students to understand their career goals and training needs to create a career path.
• Maintain the day-to-day data accuracy of communication between prospective students, advisors, and program teams.
• Work with Registrar’s Office to lift holds and update information for the application process.
• Provide support to the Executive Director of Workforce Student Services & Operations, who oversees the Salesforce CRM, by identifying opportunities for improvements in Salesforce data to increase client conversion and lead generation.
• Fosters a positive and productive work environment with team members.
• Support Executive Director of Workforce Student Services & Operations with various tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 1 year of related experience (sales, recruitment, higher education, customer service)
• One year of related experience (sales, recruitment, higher education, customer service) or an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
• Ability to meet and/or exceed set program goals and objectives.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to different situations, including learning new systems and processes
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 5 Years of related experience
• Two years’ experience using a customer relationship management system (ex: Salesforce, Recruit)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in related field
