Type of Appointment: Part time - Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop relevant STEM outreach activities for K-12 grade students

• Plan and schedule at least 6 events/activities with local schools, libraries, community events, after-school programs, etc. for implementation of outreach activities

• Collect demographic data on participants, including parents/guardians and teachers, at outreach events

• Submit final report of activities at end of fiscal year (deadline: June 30, 2026)

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Note: This is a temporary, part-time position (ends June 30, 2026) that pays on an hourly basis as each activity is completed. Pay does not exceed $3,300 for the fiscal year.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree plus 5 years of experience.

Preferred Experience: Background in STEM or sciences. Experience in designing and developing STEM outreach activities for K-12th grade students. Experience in engaging youth in STEM activities.
