Salary: $2,400 - $2,500 per three credit course (determined by highest degree earned)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teach assigned courses in Business, Accounting, and/or Economics in accordance with the approved curriculum and course outlines
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and learning activities aligned with course objectives
• Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments consistent with college standards
• Evaluate and grade student work in a timely and fair manner
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and required academic records
• Provide students with regular feedback and academic support
• Hold office hours or provide reasonable availability for student consultation
• Use instructional technology, including learning management systems (Canvas) to post materials, assignments, and grades
• Participate in required adjunct faculty meetings, training, and professional development activities
• Comply with all college policies, including academic integrity, accessibility requirements, and departmental guidelines
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field OR
• Master’s degree in any discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline, as required by accrediting standards
Preferred Qualifications:
• Teaching experience in post-secondary education is preferred.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills as they relate to specific position requirement.
