Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work Habits - 25%
• Program Evaluation and Reporting: Regularly assess the effectiveness of online learning and career services programs, track student success metrics, and prepare reports to inform decision-making and improve program outcomes.
• Enrollment Support: Ensure seamless enrollment processes for students, guiding them through necessary steps for registration, course selection, and career pathway planning.

Behavioral Standards - 25%
• Liaison Between Students and Industry: Serve as the primary contact for students and local industry partners, facilitating connections between students and employers to secure internships, job placements, and career advancement.
• Community and Industry Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with employers, business organizations, and community partners to create valuable opportunities for students, including internships, job placements, and training collaborations.
• Employer Engagement: Develop relationships with employers to identify current and future workforce needs, and align SoLAcc’s noncredit programs with these market demands, fostering long-term partnerships.

Institutional Support - 25%
• Student Success Support: Provide personalized support to noncredit students to ensure their academic success, helping them overcome challenges and access necessary resources.
• Track Career Outcomes: Monitor alumni and current student employment and advancement outcomes, gathering data to assess the impact of noncredit programs on students' careers.
• Continuous Improvement: Use student and employer feedback, as well as internal evaluations, to drive continuous improvement in program design and delivery, ensuring that all initiatives align with SoLAcc’s goals.
• Serve as a guide for student progression: Assist students in transitioning from non-credit courses to credit-bearing programs or degree pathways by offering academic counseling, advising, and career guidance for their continued education.
• Lead career development services for students and alumni by providing job search strategies, career coaching, resume writing, and interview preparation.

Team Relations - 25%
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where our standards of practice - accountability, collaboration, innovation, integrity, respect, service, and trust - guide our interactions.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Associate’s degree
• Three years relevant experience.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to summarize conversations.
• Experience working in MS Office Suite.
• Experience in presenting information to individuals and small groups.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.

Required Licenses or Certifications: 

Valid, unencumbered driver's license

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in counseling and motivating individuals, preferably in a higher education setting.
• Bachelor’s degree.
