Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging instruction using the WIN Learning Soft Skills curriculum as part of the Ready2Work class in a hybrid format (online and in-person).
• Teach Digital Literacy content aligned with the Northstar Digital Literacy Standards to help students build basic computer and technology skills.
• Facilitate College and Career Readiness instruction focused on goal setting, time management, professional communication, resume writing, and job search strategies.
• Collaborate with Adult Education instructors and Workforce/CTE faculty to support seamless student transitions into high-demand CTE programs.
• Monitor and document student progress, attendance, and skill development in accordance with program guidelines and grant requirements.
• Provide individualized support and coaching to help adult learners build confidence and overcome barriers to success.
• Attend staff development sessions and meetings related to the IET program and instructional improvement.
• Maintain timely and accurate records in the designated data management system(s).
Work Schedule:
• Up to 15 hours per week (may include daytime and evening hours).
• Hybrid delivery: on-campus instruction in West Monroe and online components.
Required Education:
• Associate degree required
• Proficiency in using technology for instruction (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, LMS platforms).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a hybrid learning environment, and support diverse learners.
• Commitment to the mission of adult education and workforce development.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in education, workforce development, business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Integrated Education and Training (IET) models.
• Knowledge of WIN Learning, Northstar Digital Literacy, or similar career readiness curricula.
• Experience working with non-traditional, under-resourced, or returning adult learners.
