Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Oversee the admission process for students with disabilities, including interviews and evaluation of eligibility criteria.
2. Develop, coordinate, and monitor schedules of classes, activities, and vocational opportunities for program participants.
3. Create and maintain confidential records and reports related to program activities and student progress.
4. Manage the program budget and explore additional funding opportunities in collaboration with advisory boards and other stakeholders.
5. Conduct professional development to stay updated on best practices in disability services and program management.
6. Provide one-on-one support to students to address academic, social, emotional, and vocational needs.
7. Plan and implement skills-based lessons, focusing on daily living and employment skills.
8. Attend campus and community events with students to promote engagement and inclusion.
9. Serve as a liaison between students and faculty, advocating for accommodations and access to appropriate resources.
10. Address and manage any student conduct issues that arise.
11. Work with campus units and community organizations to enhance student opportunities and services.
12. Collaborate with advisory boards, faculty, and external partners to assess and improve program effectiveness.
13. Assist in planning and coordinating campus events and activities for program participants.
14. Recruit, train, and supervise student workers and mentors to support program initiatives.
15. Assist in setting curriculum goals for life skills and employment readiness.
16. Participate in programs and community events to enhance visibility and support for disability services.
17. Assist in recruiting students and developing initiatives to expand program offerings.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
Preferred significant experience supporting adolescents or young adults with disabilities in educational, clinical, or related settings. Experience with program development and administrative tasks
