Duties and Responsibilities: 

Serves as a key liaison for Delgado’s Workforce Development department by coordinating the implementation of new and existing certifications and short-term training programs that address employer and community needs. Provides leadership in instructor onboarding, course scheduling, and training logistics across multiple delivery formats. Builds and sustains strong relationships with business, industry, and community-based partners to expand workforce training opportunities. Supports grant development and implementation by assisting with proposals, tracking deliverables, and managing expenditures in consultation with the Director. Oversees student enrollment and documentation processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and funder requirements. Provides supervision and professional development support to assigned instructors. Contributes to marketing, outreach, and special events designed to increase program visibility, while performing additional duties as directed by the Director.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or 8-10 years of work related experience. 

Required Experience: Three years of administrative experience, preferably in industry, with responsibilities relevant to the position. Must include demonstrated supervisory experience with staff oversight, and experience coordinating or developing programs in collaboration with employers or community partners. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Preferred Education: Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution

Preferred Experience: Five years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or industry setting, with responsibilities relevant to the position. Demonstrated supervisory experience with direct responsibility for staff oversight, performance management, and professional development. Experience in designing, coordinating, or administering workforce training programs in collaboration with employers, industry groups, or community organizations. Prior experience in grant development and compliance for workforce education programs strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
