SoLAcc is seeking to fill three Senior Community Engagement & Outreach Liaison vacancies: Senior Community Engagement & Outreach Liaison for the Opelousas, Ville Platte & Crowley Campuses, Senior Community Engagement & Outreach Liaison for the New Iberia, St. Martinville & Abbeville Campuses, and Senior Community Engagement & Outreach Liaison for the Morgan City & Franklin Campuses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work Habits: (60%)
- Responsible for campus-level execution of SoLAcc Strategic Enrollment Management Plan in assigned region.
- Develops and plans recruitment and outreach events to attract prospective students and to enroll at SoLAcc.
- Organizes on-campus events aimed at improving student retention and student experience.
- In conjunction with Institutional Advancement and External Affairs, meets with businesses and agencies to develop partnerships that enhance the mission of the College and serve the needs and demands of the region.
- Coordinates and supports engagement of Campus Advisory Boards in assigned region.
- Performs all reporting required by the SoLAcc External Communications Plan.
- Develop coaching sessions, in partnership with the Assistant Director of Campus Engagement, to better assist the Student Success Coordinators in the assigned region.
- Assists with Admissions/Enrollment activities during peak enrollment periods.
- Serves on Campus Directors Council and reports on the status of previous efforts in the community while providing next month’s schedule.
- Serves on other committees and advisory boards as required.
- Develop competencies with any software utilized for reporting purposes, such as ConexED, Salesforce, and Ellucian Banner.
- Ensure proper follow-up is taken within 48 hours to all event attendees, external partners, etc.
- Travel will be required to meet the needs of the assigned region.

Institutional Support: (25%)
- Possesses extensive knowledge of and accurately communicates to campus staff, prospective students and external partners information on all SoLAcc Credit, Non-Credit and Adult Basic Education programs offered in region – including expected program outcomes, start and completion timelines, admissions requirements, program and course prerequisites, tuition and fees, and financial aid options.
- Serves on committees and advisory boards to maintain positive community visibility and promote awareness of SoLAcc educational offerings and activities.
Team Relations: (10%)
- Coordinates with Enrollment Management, Institutional Advancement and External Affairs to develop presentations and marketing content.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 7 years of relative work experience
Required Experience:
Three (3) years of experience working with community partners, outreach and recruitment efforts, strategic planning, or customer service and sales management.
Required Licenses or Certifications: Valid, unencumbered driver's license
