Duties and Responsibilities: To provide face-to-face, hands-on, and/or hybrid instruction to digital arts and communication students on the main campus.

• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Project a professional attitude toward the students.
• Utilize the approved curriculum, state clearly defined course outcomes, and assure that appropriate content is taught.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrate and teach subject matter in classroom, labs, and online, and moderate classroom discussion.
• Provide sufficient practice in digital arts and communication to develop student skills.
• Submit required reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate grades and attendance records.
• Organize classroom instruction and management.
• Hold on-campus and virtual office hours.
• Be available to students via email, phone, and/or in person.
• Receive pedagogical and technological training and other professional development that advances and promotes student learning.
• Attend all commencement ceremonies.
• Attend faculty and advisory committee meetings, Convocation, and other on-campus College events.

Required Education: • Associate degree or higher in digital media, digital cinematography, graphic arts, or media-related field
• Excellent verbal, writing, and communication skills
• Must meet credentialing guidelines for the Southern Association of Colleges and School Council on Colleges (SACSCOC)

Required Experience: • 10 years’ professional experience in industry
• 5 years’ experience in post-secondary teaching
• 3 years’ experience in online teaching using Canvas

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required Licenses or Certifications: • Hold current certifications in Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient in Apple Logic Pro and Adobe Audition
