Salary: 

Duties and Responsibilities: Title IX Leadership (40%)

• Serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator, conducting prompt, thorough, and impartial preliminary inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal and state mandates, including Clery Act and LCTCS reporting
• Track and identify systemic concerns and recommend campus-wide intervention
• Develop, maintain, and promote resources for those impacted by gender-based discrimination and misconduct
• Lead educational initiatives and awareness campaigns related to Title IX and power-based violence
• Partner with Campus Safety and Advocacy Services to ensure holistic response and prevention efforts

Employee Relations (35%)

• Serve as the first point of contact for workplace conflicts, grievances, and investigations
• Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on fair practices, college policies, and state regulations
• Maintain accurate case records, trend data, and legal compliance reports
Support telework policy implementation and employee accommodations
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and liaise with third-party administrators
• Conduct and analyze exit and stay interviews to inform workplace improvements

Performance Management (20%)
• Coach and support leaders in managing employee performance and development
• Ensure compliance with Civil Service rules and documentation of performance reviews
• Identify training needs and track performance trends that impact organizational effectiveness

Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Required Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Title IX coordination and/or employee relations

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required Licenses or Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification

Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Higher Education, or a related field

Preferred Experience: • Experience in higher education or the Louisiana State Civil Service
• Working knowledge of Banner or similar HRIS platforms

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Exceptional communication and active listening skills
• Ability to navigate sensitive issues with empathy, confidentiality, and neutrality
• Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and investigative best practices
• Passion for serving a diverse campus and contributing to a healthy institutional climate
