Duties and Responsibilities: 

The CTE Dual Enrollment Manager will play a crucial role in managing dual enrollment programs, overseeing career development platforms, and providing guidance to high school students regarding their educational and career paths. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and leverage technology to enhance student services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Dual Enrollment Management:
• Work cooperatively with high school guidance counselors, teachers, and career coaches to promote dual enrollment course offerings.
• Serve as a liaison between the college and high schools, ensuring seamless program integration.
• Monitor student progress and provide support to ensure successful program completion.
• Maintain dual enrollment records for verification by high schools, collaboration with Student Billing, and validity of course enrollment
• Responsible for all system audits of dual enrollment activities.
• Develop, design, edit, and distribute dual enrollment information literature.
• Keep records of all dual enrollment students as well as copies of their required paperwork.
• Work with all satellite campuses to receive student enrollment information each semester.
• Provide support during registration, special events and give campus tours when needed.
• Assist prospective students, including dual-enrolled prospects, with the application and admissions process at LDCC, including submission of correct and appropriate paperwork.
• Work in Banner to build courses, register students, etc. to process student and course information.
• Collaborate with high schools and Student Billing to receive documentation for state funds including.
• Tops Tech Early Start (TTES) and Supplemental Course Academy/Allocation (SCA).
• Work with students, high schools, and the Bookstore about textbooks and course codes.
• Communicate with instructors regarding students’ enrollment, progress, and attendance.


2. Career Development and Guidance:
• Oversee and manage the Career Waves 8 platform, ensuring it is effectively utilized for student career development.
• Administer the YouScience career assessment, interpreting results to guide students in their career planning.
• Work directly with high school students to help them identify and pursue their preferred educational and career paths.
• Provide counseling and support for students in making informed decisions about their future.
• Develop and conduct workshops or seminars related to career exploration and readiness.

• Other Duties as assigned

Required Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in academic advising, career services, or enrollment management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using career development software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
