Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching and Direct Instructional Activities (65 – 75% of Activity, 25 – 30 hrs. wk.)
• Preparation of Course Materials
• Course Presentation
• Student Performance Evaluation

Service to Students, Department, Division or College (20 – 30% of Activity, 10 – 15 hrs. wk.)
• Institutional Service
• Community Service
• Student Services

Research and Professional Development Activities (5 – 15% of Activity, 5 – 10 hrs. wk.)
• Developing/Maintaining Professional Relationships
• Continuing Education
• Publishing/Writing Activities
• Research Activities

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Dean, Vice Chancellor, or Chancellor.

Predictable and reliable attendance is required to provide consistency and continuity of educational and business services.

Other duties as assigned

Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of directly related occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught, OR an Associate’s degree and 4 years of occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught, OR Technical Diploma and 5 years of occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught and willing to obtain Associate’s degree

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Clear and timely written and oral communication
Familiar with technology such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

Required Licenses or Certifications: Criminal background screen clearance
